There are XXXXXX savesets that have not yet been backed up or replicated for Vault Store 'EVVaultStore'.

V-437-41008

Cause

This issue might be cause if Enterprise Vault is configured to use "Archive Bit" for safety copies at the partition level and the Backup Exec job backup type is not set to "reset archive bit". In addition, the DVS files might have not been included in the Backup Exec job. This can be confirmed by opening the Backup Exec restore wizard and navigate to the DVS location and see if they are showed to be restored.

Solution

  1. Check that the Backup Exec Job selections include the Enterprise Vault partition and subfolder locations as part of the job.
  2. Change the backup type to a "reset archive bit" option and check that include subfolders is ticked
  3. Confirm that in the Enterprise Vault server, the archive bit option has been enabled:

Checking that partitions have been backed up

It has been noticed that sometimes the root folder location has been selected in the Backup Exec job, with subfolders selected but the backup job does not process subfolder levels. This has been noticed when the Backup Exec for Enterprise Vault trial agent has been installed and expired. In this case, removing the Backup Exec agent from the Enterprise Vault server and re-installing it or adding the Enterprise Vault server as a "user defined selection" and selecting the DVS location to process the 'A' archive attribute might solve this issue.
