Problem

The attached document describes how Veritas Cluster Server™ (VCS) can be deployed inside guest virtual machines (in-guest support) in the following virtualization
environments:

  • Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization
  • Oracle VM

Solution

For each virtualization environment, the document describes how you can configure VCS to create a cluster among virtual machines and ensure high availability of applications running on the virtual machines.

The document assumes that you are familiar with:

  • The concepts, components, and configurations involved in setting up the required virtualization environment and creating virtual machines within the environment.
  • VCS and its administrative utilities.
