Description
If you have lost power at the site of your NetBackup appliance and storage systems for a sustained amount of time, use the following steps as a guide to help get your hardware turned on.

The appliance continues to operate normally once the power is restored after a power outage. |

Step 1 |
Initialize the storage systems and appliance hardware. |
Initialize the hardware in the following order:

Step 2 |
Verify the status of the hardware components. |
Once the appliance and attached storage systems have initialized, verify the health status of all the hardware components.

Step 3 |
Verify that all NetBackup services have started. |
Once you have verified that the status of the appliance hardware is healthy, check to make sure that all NetBackup services have resumed. All backup jobs resume once the appliance is turned on. You can check the NetBackup services through the Command Line Interface or the maintenance shell menu.
