This section describes the sequence you must follow to restore operation to a NetBackup Appliance with external storage after the source power is restored following a power outage
To restore operation to a NetBackup Appliance with a storage system following a power outage
Make sure that the Veritas Storage Shelves are on and have initialized.
Make sure that source power is available to the appliance and that the appliance is turned off.
Note:
On the appliance control panel, the LEDs for the Ethernet ports (1, 2, and 3) that are connected are green. The system status LED is also green.
Press the power button on the control panel. The fans come on as the unit starts initiation.
