Description
NetBackup Appliance 3.2 Maintenance Release 1 provides new Red Hat Linux/Third-Party vulnerabilities fixes and important product fixes and enhancements. It also includes previously released security and product fixes. It includes the following:
- Security Patch 2
- HotFix Bundle 2
- VxVM and SystemD integration HotFix
- NetBackup 8.2/NetBackup Appliance 3.2 EEB package
Due to incompatibility, the Maintenance Release must not be installed on a Virtual Appliance.
Deployment of the Maintenance Release by Appliance Management Server (AMS) is not supported.
If VxFS inconsistencies fix is installed (NBAPP_EEB_ET4004883-3.2.0.0-2.x86_64.rpm), uninstall it before installing Maintenance Release 1. Then reinstall the VxFS inconsistencies fix.
There is no need to uninstall any of the fixes included in the Maintenance Release before installing it.
