Some customers may be unable to configure cloud storage for some Google and AWS regions in Backup Exec 22.1.
Error: Unable to list the buckets for the following regions
- Google Europe west 9 (Paris)
- Google us-east5 (Columbus)
- Google Europe-west8 (Milan)
- Google us-south1 (Dallas)
- Google: Madrid
- AWS Region (me-Central-1)
- Wasabi S3
Solution:
- Download BE22_0_1193_1338_CloudXMLUpdate.zip from the Veritas Download Center and extract all files
- Stop the Backup Exec Services
- Rename CloudProvider.xml to CloudProvider.old present in Backup Exec Installation path (Default - C:\Program Files\Veritas\Backup Exec\)
- Rename CloudConnectorCfg.xml to CloudProvider.old present in Backup Exec Installation path (Default - C:\Program Files\Veritas\Backup Exec\)
- Place the files which were downloaded in Step 1 into the Backup Exec directory. (Default - C:\Program Files\Veritas\Backup Exec\)
- Start the Backup Exec services.
- Configure the Cloud storage.
