NetBackup Appliance 5.0.0.1 Maintenance Release 2 (MR2) is a full package that includes NetBackup Appliance 5.0, 5.0.0.1 MR1, 5.0.0.1 MR1 SP2 and NetBackup 10.0.0.1 content. 5.0.0.1 MR2 obsoletes 5.0.0.1 MR1 and 5.0.0.1 MR1 SP2. MR2 also includes additional critical product and security fixes specific to NetBackup Appliance. MR2 also supports the new Dell 2U12 JBOD (MD1400) Storage, Broadcom NIC card and Intel Gen4 RAID Controller.
MR2 can be installed only on the following NetBackup Appliance releases:
• 5.0, 5.0.0.1 MR1, 5.0.0.1 MR1 SP1, 5.0.0.1 MR1 SP2
• 4.1, 4.1.0.1 MR1, 4.1.0.1 MR2, 4.1.0.1 MR3, 4.1.0.1 MR4
• 4.0, 4.0.0.1 MR1, 4.0.0.1 MR2, 4.0.0.1 MR3, 4.0.0.1 MR4
