Restarting the ssh session
After you complete this procedure, ssh can be restarted in any of the following scenarios:
After a terminal session is closed
After a new terminal session is opened
After a system is restarted
After too much time has elapsed, to refresh ssh
To restart ssh
- On the source installation system (sys1), bring the private key into the shell environment.
sys1 # exec /usr/bin/ssh-agent $SHELL
- Make the key globally available for the user root
sys1 # ssh-add
