Troubleshooting information
A few ways to gather and review troubleshooting information for this agent are:
To view errors or warnings related to the RestServer agent, open the
/var/VRTSvcs/log/RestServer_A.log
file.To view debug-level messages, enable DBG_1 and DBG_2 logs.
To check whether the REST server service (
gunicorn
) is started successfully with the specified details, use the ps -ef | grep gunicorn command. To debug the issue if the online operation for RestSG fails, or if
gunicorn
is not running, perform the following steps sequentially:From
/var/VRTSvcs/log/RestServer_A.log
, identify the exact command that was used to startgunicorn
.Navigate to
/opt/VRTSrest/bin/server
and run the command that you identified in the previous step.Review the error message and address the issue as required.
