Attributes
Table: Required attributes
Attribute | Description |
---|---|
HostIP | Virtual IP on which the REST server binds. Type and dimension: string-scalar Example: 10.209.72.14 |
Table: Optional attributes
Attribute | Description |
---|---|
Port | Port number of the REST server. Type and dimension: integer-scalar Examples: 5000, 636 Default value: 5637 |
NumOfWorkers | Number of worker processes for handling requests. Type and dimension: integer-scalar Permitted range: 1 through 32 Default value: 4 If the specified value is not within the permitted range, the agent sets this value to twice the number of CPUs on the system. For example, if you specify 48, and the system has 8 cores, the agent uses 16 worker processes to handle REST requests. |
WorkerTimeout | Duration in seconds for which the server can remain idle before it is restarted. Type and dimension: integer-scalar Default value: 300 |
LogLevel | Granularity of log messages. Type and dimension: string-scalar Permitted values: debug, info, warning, error, and critical Default value: info |
ThirdPartyCA | Specifies whether to use third-party Certificate Authority (CA) certificates to start the REST server:
Type and dimension: integer-scalar Default value: 0 |
ServerKeyFile | Location and name of the file that contains the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) key. Type and dimension: string-scalar |
ServerCertFile | Location and name of the file that contains the SSL certificate. Type and dimension: string-scalar |
CACertFile | Location and name of the file that contains the CA certificates. Type and dimension: string-scalar |
ServerKeyPassword | Encrypted passphrase that is required to decrypt the SSL key file. Use the vcsencrypt -agent command to encrypt the passphrase. Type and dimension: string-scalar |
Users | List of users that have permissions to manage the REST server. Type and dimension: string-scalar |
