Enterprise Vault - Change Properties dialog box
This dialog box lets you change the archiving settings for the selected mailbox. Your administrator may have locked the settings to stop you changing them.
Note:
After you click OK in this dialog box, you still need to click OK or Apply in the Mailbox Properties for any changes to take effect.
The dialog box contains the following fields:
Suspend Enterprise Vault archiving for this mailbox | Lets you turn archiving for the mailbox on or off. When you suspend archiving, Enterprise Vault does not archive any items from any folder in your mailbox. However, you can still store items in a vault yourself when you need to. When you first use Enterprise Vault, your administrator may have suspended archiving to let you customize the Enterprise Vault settings for your mailbox. After you have customized the settings, you must clear . |
Retention Category | Specifies the default retention category to assign to the items in the mailbox. Click the arrow to see more options. The retention category that you assign to a mailbox applies to each of its subfolders for which Use parent folder settings is selected. The Use parent folder settings option is in the Enterprise Vault - Change Properties dialog box for the folder. |
