Uninstalling Veritas System Recovery Linux Edition

After installing Veritas System Recovery Linux Edition, you can uninstall it if needed.

To uninstall Veritas System Recovery Linux Edition

  1. Log on to your computer as the root user.
  2. Uninstall Veritas System Recovery Linux Edition by entering the following command at the Linux terminal:

    symsr-uninstall

Note:

Reinstalling Veritas System Recovery Linux Edition prompts you to install over a previous installation. Uninstalling the product is not required before reinstalling it.
