Pre-Install setup

  1. Log in to the virtual machine as root or Server where NetBackup IT Analytics is installed.
  2. Download the following Five files from the product download area of the website and save them to /tmp folder.

    • xdb6.zip

    • xmlparserv2-sans-jaxp-services.zip

    • p6880880_190000_Linux-x86-64.zip

    • p35058163_190000_Linux-x86-64.zip

    • p35004974_190000_Linux-x86-64.zip

  3. cd /tmp
  4. Stop all services using command:
    /opt/aptare/bin/aptare stop

    Note:

    Ensure all NetBackup IT Analytics services are stopped. If services are still running, will it cause issues further during patch installation.

    Note:

    If any of the prior Oracle patches have been already applied, the first two files from the download are not required.

  5. Verify if all the required rpms are installed before applying Oracle patches. Refer the link below:
