Locating the node serial number

The node serial number is required for some operations on the appliance. You can find the node serial number in the following locations:

  • On the System topology page of the Flex Appliance Console, under Head nodes.

  • With the following command in the Flex Appliance Shell:

    show serial-number

  • On the System > FRU Information page of the Veritas Remote Management Interface, under Product Information

  • On the hardware. For the exact location, see the Product Description for your particular appliance.
