Enhancements for Cassandra workload

NetBackup is enhanced to support Apache Cassandra version 5.0. The following enhancements are incorporated in this release:

  • If the data masking is enabled on the families column, configure the dynamic_data_masking_enabled parameter as "true" in the Cassandra.yaml file of the DSS node.

  • Scripted user-defined functions are NOT supported in Cassandra 5.0. Hence, DO NOT configure the enable_scripted_user_defined_functions parameter in the cassandra.yml file for the DSS nodes.

  • Indexes/Vectors are not restored in case of a rename column family scenario. Veritas recommends adding an index/vector to the renamed column family.
