Problem

The user encountered an issue while attempting to push a certificate for an edge server in the Desktop and Laptop Option (DLO) environment. The error message received was "Push certificate failed. Don't have permissions to agent share folder." This problem impacted the functionality of the system, preventing the successful installation of the certificate.

Error Message

Error: Push certificate failed. Don't have permissions to agent share folder.

Cause

Upon investigation, it was found that the DLO installation was corrupt, leading to the permission issue when attempting to push the certificate. The corruption of the DLO application caused the system to deny access to the agent share folder, resulting in the failure to install the certificate.

Solution

Update the permissions of DLOAgent folder and the DLOMacAgent folder.

The Security Tab should show the following:

Everyone - has Read & execute, List folder contents, Read.
Administrator - Full control
Local Administrator - Full control

The folders should be shared and the Sharing Tab should show the following:

Everyone - Full Control
