Description
Customers who wish to use the new Access Key Generation feature in NetInsights Console/System Health Insights must meet the requirements and complete the steps below in order to authorize Security Administrators before being able to use the feature.
Note: The Security Admin role will not be visible until the Veritas team enables the functionality for the designated team members.
Requirements:
- Appliances must be registered in System Health Insights and associated with a team.
- The appliance does not need to be calling home.
- There must be at least two people identified as Security Administrators for a team in System Health Insights.
- The email addresses must be associated with the corporate domain of the company who purchased the appliances or the domain of a partner company who is managing the customer appliance(s).
- Distribution list email addresses are not accepted.
- The maximum number of security administrators is 5.
- At least one user must be an administrator for the team.
- None of the users should be a read-only user.
Steps:
- Ensure the above requirements are met.
- Email DL-VTAS-SHI-HELP@veritas.com to request access specifying the following information:
- NetInsights Console/System Health Insights team ID.
- User names and emails of at least two people to designate as the security administrator.
Note: Emails to DL-VTAS-SHI-HELP@veritas.com are typically acknowledged within 1 business day, Monday through Friday, excluding US holidays.
Supported Platforms:
- NetBackup Flex Appliances running 4.0 or later versions.
- Access Appliances running 8.4 or later versions.
- NetBackup FlexScale Appliances running 3.5 or later versions.
Additional information may be requested by the System Health Insights team and requests may not be granted if the requirements are not met or team members can't be verified.
