7.3 | Veritas have released patch infoscale-rhel7.4_x86_64-Patch-7.3.0.100 to support InfoScale 7.3 on RHEL 7.4. Physical Installation If installing InfoScale 7.3 on a physical RHEL 7.4 server, install the patch bundle at the same time as the InfoScale installation:
./<InfoScale7.3_dir>/installer -patch_path /tmp/<Patch7.3.0.100_dir>
Virtual installation If installing InfoScale 7.3 on a virtual RHEL 7.4 server, the InfoScale 7.3 installation may become unresponsive, or "hang," during the installation. Two workarounds exist: Workaround 1:
a. Install InfoScale 7.3 on RHEL 7.3.
Workaround 2:
b. Install patch 7.3.0.100 on RHEL 7.3. c. Upgrade the OS to RHEL 7.4.
a. With manual steps (rpm), install all the VRTS packages, except the VRTSvxvm 7.3 package.
b. Manually install the VRTSvxvm package from the InfoScale 7.3.0.100 patch. c. Use the CPI installer to configure InfoScale. VIOM Veritas has identified an issue that prevents Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager (VIOM) 7.3 from working on RHEL 7.4. A VIOM (Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager) patch is being produced. LLT on RDMA Veritas will release a patch for LLT on RDMA RHEL 7.4 environments. Do not use Cluster Server (VCS) with LLT on RDMA environments until this patch is released. |

Virtual installation If installing InfoScale 7.2 on a virtual RHEL 7.4 server, the InfoScale 7.2 installation may become unresponsive, or "hang," during the installation. Two workarounds exist: Workaround 1:
a. Install InfoScale 7.2 on RHEL 7.3.
Workaround 2:
